Expa is an accounting and financial advisory firm founded in 2010 in Riga. Since the beginning, our focus has been on companies and individuals who need a reliable partner for complex financial and tax issues – not just formal filing of returns, but real understanding of the situation and practical support. <\/span><\/p>

      – Former SRS Auditor – Entrepreneur – EU Funds Project Specialist<\/strong><\/p>

      Eva’s professional path gives Expa clients a significant advantage – we have a specialist on our team who knows the tax audit process from the inside. Eva has worked for the Tax Control Department of the SRS, Personal Audit Division as an auditor. This experience means we know exactly what the SRS is looking for, how it formulates requests and how it assesses companies’ responses.<\/span><\/p>

      After working in the public sector, Eva has been an entrepreneur in several sectors, running businesses in the automotive, organic farming and rural tourism sectors. This multidisciplinary experience gives a deep understanding of the day-to-day reality of business – accounting not just as a set of documents, but as a business management tool.<\/span><\/p>

      Eva is also an experienced European Funds Project Specialist with involvement in the preparation and implementation of LIAA, CFLA, LAD and Altum projects. For clients seeking support in raising project finance, this knowledge can be just as valuable as accounting services.<\/span><\/p>

        Mairita is the team’s Chief Accountant with more than 20 years of experience in accounting, auditing and financial control. Her professional career spans both the private and public sectors, giving her a broad and in-depth perspective on the management of financial processes.<\/span><\/p>

        From 2007. 2017. In 2007 Mairita worked at SIA “Revidentu serviss” as an assistant to a certified auditor, where the main task was to check the compliance of financial statements with Latvian laws and regulations, communicate with the management of companies and review the preparation of financial statements. During this work, audits were carried out in municipalities and municipal capital companies across Latvia.<\/span><\/p>

        From 2020. 2022. Mairita worked at the State Labour Inspectorate as a junior inspector – checking the application of the Labour Law in companies and the accuracy of wage calculations in employment contracts. This experience gives a unique understanding of the documentation requirements of the employment relationship.<\/span><\/p>

        Mairita graduated from the Latvian University of Agriculture with a Bachelor of Social Sciences in Economics (2003-2008). Additional education includes an Apprenticeship in Business Writing and Document Production (2024) and an Occupational Safety and Health Awareness Programme.<\/span><\/p>

          Tiara is a team member who combines accounting acumen with advanced data analytics skills. Her experience as a restaurant manager (Lagoon Restaurant, 2023-2025) has given her a practical understanding of the company’s financial processes – revenue analysis, inventory and seasonal data evaluation.<\/span><\/p>

          Ti\u0101re has studied Accounting Fundamentals (Latvikon Education Centre, 100 academic hours, EKI Level 4), Data Analytics with Python and SQL (Riga Coding School, DigComp Level 4) and Google Data Analytics Certificate (Coursera, 2025). Her skills in Python, SQL, Power BI and data visualisation allow Expa to offer clients not only standard accounting, but also in-depth analysis of financial data and insightful reports.<\/span><\/p>
